How accurate is the online estimate?
It’s a ballpark range based on what you enter. Final pricing is confirmed after an on-site or virtual walkthrough, where we look at surface conditions and agree on the exact scope. That estimate is itemized, so you can see what each part of the job costs.
What happens after I submit?
You see your range on the screen right away, and House Hues gets your details and the range you were shown. We’ll reach out to talk through the project and set up a walkthrough if it’s a good fit.
What paints do you use?
It depends on the surface. Fine Paints of Europe for high gloss work, cabinet-specific lines such as Benjamin Moore Advance and Sherwin-Williams ProClassic, and authentic lime and plaster for specialty finishes.
Do you paint exteriors year-round?
No. We don’t paint exteriors from December through March, because a finish applied in Western Pennsylvania winter weather won’t last. Interior and cabinet projects are scheduled through the winter.
How do you protect my home while you work?
Furniture and floors are covered before any prep starts, and the crew keeps the workspace clean every day. You shouldn’t have to live around a mess.
